It’s a cliché to say that the best homes in the world come with a price tag, but a $1.8 million house in the beautiful hills of Los Angeles is worth at least that much.
The home is a property called The Old House on a hill, a modest piece of land that once stood on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Pacific Avenue.
It was built in the 1860s as a place to hold the local branch of the American Legion, but the property’s popularity has waned in recent years.
But the owners of the house, who call themselves The Lighthouse Family, hope to make it worth their while by selling it off.
“We’ve never been able to get into the red.
We’ve never made the amount of money we would like to,” says The Lighthouses co-owner, Chris Lighthouse.
Chris and his wife, Ann, purchased the house in 2015, about 10 years after it was built.
After years of planning and hard work, they’ve finally been able turn their dream home into a place of comfort and enjoyment.
Chris and Ann bought the house because they wanted to have a place where they could relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of Los Angles.
They wanted something that was “the perfect place to raise a family and be the family that you want to be,” Chris Lighthouse says.
“It was kind of a dream of ours, and we just had to put it into action.”
The house has a lot of history.
The house dates back to the 1850s, when the Lighthases purchased the property from a private developer who was planning to build a large, three-story mansion.
The Lightersons then bought the property in 1872 and moved into the house.
The family owned the property until it was bought by The Lotham Family in 1926, when they purchased the land and built their own house on it.
The Lighthoses have a history of making it work for them.
They were able to keep the property and the Lighthouse family afloat financially by using tax-free money from the city and county.
The property was sold off to the county in 2006, and Chris and his family have been able by selling off their remaining land to buy the property.
Since 2008, Chris and The Lighterts have worked with the county to make sure the land is used for its intended purpose.
In addition to keeping the property clean, the family also uses the property for their backyard.
Each year, the Lightersites donate an acre of the property to local parks, gardens, playgrounds, a nature trail, a dog park, and even the local library.
“It’s just so amazing,” Ann Lighthose says.
The Lightersays plan to use the land to create a more family-friendly community.
Chris Lightersouse says that he plans to keep things simple by keeping the house as it was originally intended.
The entire property is made of old wooden beams that have been painted red, green, and yellow.
The windows are covered in stained glass, and the kitchen and living room are covered with natural light.
For Chris, it’s been a dream to live in this house and be able to do what he wants to do.
“We’re not really planning to do anything new, just take the old house and turn it into this amazing house that we want to live inside,” he says.
